Why is Being At The Airport Such a Chore

General Add comments

There is no doubt that everybody loves to go on holiday, but easily the worst part about the entire trip is the airport.

9/11 has done us no favours when it comes to the airport as now the delays are even longer and people are even more stressed than they were before. The worst thing about the airport has to be the security checks that must be endured. It is totally understandable that everybody must put their bags through the scanner as nobody wants something awful happening to the plane, but do they have to treat everybody like criminals and be so rude?

On top of this, they seem to really enjoy throwing your baggage around as much as they can? It seems that whenever you see your baggage at the airport it is either being thrown around by a machine or a person. There never appears to be any padding when the cases fly down the belt at your destination, meaning any valuables will surely be broken.

Passengers trying to get on board the plane first are such a big pain. Why would you bother? People like to try and get on first, even when their row number has not been announced. This obviously annoys the people who have genuinly been called, who are then stuck at the back of a long queue. Why do they always seem to do this? The plane will go when everybody is on board and not before and surely the less time you spend on the plane the better as by now you would have already read the paper/magazines and worked your way through your entire playlist on your Mp3 player.

If you want to get to your favourite destination, unfortunately this is something you have to deal with. If this all happens to you just remember that you are off on holiday whether that is on one of thoseĀ USA tours or an Alaskan cruise you are sure to have a good time. That is of course if you have managed to get through the airport in the first place!
