Russell Square area in London

Russell Square is one of the many areas in Bloomsbury. Indeed, it is a beautiful and big Garden Square. The Square’s name is the same as the Earls and Duke of Bedford. Nowadays, many tourist to London choose to book hotels in the Russell Square. The other major areas in the capital and the West end are easily accessible from Russell Square. The Piccadilly line trains from Russell square run through many areas in Central London.

For only about twenty five minutes walk from Russell Square, you will find yourself in the London West End where the big shops within the. These shopping streets include Tottenham Court Road, the Bond Street and the Regent Street. You are not far away from Oxford Street when you are in Russell Square. There are many buses which can connect you between Russell Square and other parts of London. To move from one area to the other is done quicker by the underground but to see more of London, it is better to travel around with bus. Russell Square is very close to the Euston station which is just about 7 minutes away on foot.

Many of the tourist attraction centres in Bloomsbury are located close to Russell Square. Just a walking distance away is the British Museum, which can boast of over 7 million items from all Continents. Also very close to the Russell Square is the British Library. The University College of London is also a place of interest in the area. You will find a lot of restaurants, shops, street performers and many other exciting things in Covent Garden. It is in the centre of the West End and it is just a few minutes away from Russell Sqaure. The Leicester Square is not far from the Russell square.

Located in the area is a high concentration of accommodation facilities for London tourists.
