British sailors landed on Barbados in 1625 and realised how much potential it had. This is a large island with sun all year round. Slaves were also taken to Barbados to work on the Sugar Cane plantains and grow more for the economy. Eventually, through all the hard-ship it had suffered, Barbados became an independent state. Barbados gives us a massive amount of different holidays on its own, and many different activities. In Barbados, you can travel to the beach and enjoy the mile long strip where you can drink at many different clubs, bars and pubs.

Barbados used to be an out of reach destination because holiday prices were so high, but not in the economic downturn prices have dropped massively.
